Kona-Kailua is the most visited part of the Big Island of Hawaii, where the weather is consistently warmer, the view of dry lava on the side of the road is more common, and it's home to mega-resorts and aggressive timeshare offers.

Weed away the commercialism and you'll find some cool coffee farms, secluded beaches and my favorite, the “City of Refuge” or as it's known, Pu'uhonua O Hōnaunau National Historical Park.

We explore on the latest #Photowalk video.

Don't forget to also watch Parts 1, 2 and 3 from the east side of the island, in Hilo Town and Hawaii Volcano National Park.

And stay tuned for the bonus cut from the series, a taste of life within the coolest little restaurant in Hilo, Paul's Place Cafe
