We bring the #Photowalk cameras to Kobe, Japan for the latest edition of the Photowalks travel photography adventure series.

Kobe is Japan's 6th largest city and a way different experience than the electric hustle of Tokyo and Osaka, with more wide, open space, a large port and waterfront, and it's probably best known as the home of Kobe Beef.

(There's more to it, trust me.)

Best of all - Kobe is Japan at its best, without the Maid Cafes and massive crosswalks and confusion that come to define Tokyo.

Below, a gallery of images from Motomatchi station to Chinatown (one of just 3 in the country) the downtown area, the waterfront (Be Kobe and all) Mt. Rokko, the Kitano international district and the Herb Garden,.
