Orange, a city of just over 140,000, has taken pains to keep it’s “Old Towne” looking more or less like it just might have 100 or so years ago, with a classic circle and roundabout in the center of town. And it happens to be adorned by antique and vintage stores, galleries and fun places to eat.
It doesn’t get any better, IMHO, than Watson’s Soda Fountain, (116 E Chapman Ave.) which happens to be home to what it says is the original soda fountain. Circa 1899.
I am joined on this photowalk by Jan Schrieber, who has the terrific Adventure Muse channel on YouTube,.
Orange is a fun place to spend an afternoon, either for shoppers or photo enthusiasts. It makes an amazing backdrop for environmental portraits and you’ll notice a definite theme to the town when you see the video!
