Tokyo's Shibuya crossing is the world's busiest intersection, a five-way mass that has some 1,000 people during prime-time dash across the street in 45 seconds or less, to get from one side to the other.
It's a street photographer's dream, and Tokyo's no. 1 photo and selfie spot. Tourists have a tendency to want to go a little crazy when the light turns green.
Shibuya is both a high-intensity shopping district and a major stop on the train, which is why so many ordinary Japanese folk end up in the district on any given day.
I explore in the above video where, how and when to get your Shibuya shot and below, my complete Timelapse special, shot on the new GoPro Hero 7 Black and iPhone XS Max cameras.
The photos were all taken on the Sony RX10IV.
