The historic victorian seaport village of Port Townsend, Washington is a must stop for anyone visiting Seattle or British Columbia.
It's a small town, circa 10,000 people, set on the edge of the Olympic Peninsula and the Puget Sound, ripe with century old victorian homes, lots of music and art, and a smashing waterfront. It's two hours from Seattle and 3 from Vancouver, but worth the time spent to get there.
